Job Overview

At UAP Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation.

Responsibilities
  • Process high-volume payroll production in a large company environment;
  • Collaborate with internal clients across Canada to resolve payroll-related inquiries;
  • Prepare and send ROEs, T2200s, and other related documents during terminations and year-end processing;
  • Perform checks and verifications before closing payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
  • Analyze and resolve complex payroll issues, providing expert guidance to managers and employees.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll production in a similar industry;
  • Membership in good standing with the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) is an asset;
  • Proficiency in integrated human resources systems, preferably Workday or equivalent;
  • Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables and V lookups;
  • Bilingualism in French and English, written and spoken, for effective communication with internal clients.
Benefits
