Job Title: Executive Director

Meals on Wheels of Fredericton is a dynamic and growing organization that has been serving the community for over 50 years. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading our team and ensuring the effective delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the organization in accordance with our mission statement and strategic plan.
  • Manage all personnel and resources to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
  • Enhance the organization's image by being active and visible in the community.
  • Work closely with other professional, civic, and private organizations on behalf of the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support our programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all pertinent legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Five or more years of senior non-profit management experience.
  • Experience working with seniors and individuals with disabilities.
  • High level of strategic thinking and planning.
  • Effective communication and grant writing skills.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • Computer experience in programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
