Executive Director

The Executive Director will provide visionary leadership and oversight to S.T.A.R.S. Children's Home Inc., a registered non-profit agency dedicated to supporting young children who have experienced trauma.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the organization, ensuring effective implementation of programs and services.
- Develop and manage operational policies and procedures with the Board of Directors to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Lead and support the senior management team, including setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individual donors, corporations, foundations, and government entities.
- Support and collaborate with the Board of Directors in fulfilling its governance responsibilities.
- Provide regular updates on organizational performance, financial status, and strategic initiatives.
- Represent the organization to external stakeholders, including media, community groups, and government agencies.
- Advocate for the organization's interests and engage in policy discussions relevant to the sector.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, social services, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of senior management experience in a nonprofit organization, including experience in fundraising, financial management, and strategic planning.
- Understanding of nonprofit financials, grant writing, and fundraising strategies; familiarity with board governance and compliance issues.
- Passionate about the organization's mission, with a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
