Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to lead our Produce department at Save-On-Foods. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of sales associates and provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve inventory management, and enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of produce.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient stocktaking and inventory management processes.
  • Monitor and control expenses, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in a retail or grocery store environment, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of produce, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
