Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Produce Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our produce department, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

About the Role

The Produce Manager will be responsible for:

  1. Receiving and processing merchandise in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Maintaining sales floor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up product displays.
  3. Leading by example, greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, and assisting with promoting products/services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
  4. Completing all aspects of store planning, attending meetings to review reports and sales information, and ensuring in-stock inventory levels by executing merchandising programs and replenishment programs.
  5. Ensuring proper handling of claims and returns, securing merchandise, identifying high shrink items, and maintaining a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.

This is a key leadership role within our store, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Age 16 or older.
