Position Overview

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Spiritual Care Education Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and administering spiritual care education programs at various sites within the health region.

As a key member of the Spiritual Health team, the successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a resource for in-service education for all healthcare disciplines, participating on committees, and providing frontline spiritual care services to patients, families, and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or equivalent, and have a minimum of three years' experience in hospital spiritual health care. Additionally, they will be certified as a Supervisor (Associate or Teaching) with the Canadian Association of Spiritual Care (CASC) and be able to maintain certification.

The successful candidate will be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and have the ability to interact well with all members of the interdisciplinary team. They will also be able to retain information of a confidential nature and work with accuracy.
