We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Imaging Specialist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered Radiology Technologist to showcase their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will perform radiographic duties under general supervision, related equipment maintenance, and clerical functions. As an X-Ray Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Maintain equipment in good working order, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Process patient images and ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an approved medical Radiation Technologist program
  • Active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate
  • One (1) year general radiography experience preferred

Estimated Salary

$36.69 - $45.81 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
