Job Summary

As a Business Analyst Co-Op at CARFAX, you will work closely with the Project Services team to deliver technical products across various team specialties. Your responsibilities will include working directly with project managers and business analysts, creating process maps, learning about agile software development, and writing product requirements/user stories. You will also participate in daily huddles, work with end users and stakeholders, and help prepare presentations to share project information. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of how CARFAX works, both internally and from our customers' perspectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with project managers and business analysts to deliver technical products
  • Create process maps and learn about agile software development
  • Write product requirements/user stories and use JIRA to manage them
  • Participate in daily huddles to discuss user story specifics and project direction
  • Work with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable items
  • Help prepare presentations to share project information
  • Own specific initiatives and be held accountable for delivery

Requirements
  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or technical writing major
  • Passion for data and data analysis
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Outstanding work ethic and great people skills
  • Sound time management and organization skills
  • Experience as a member of a project team
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using web-based applications
