At CARFAX, we are constantly expanding our product and technology offerings, bringing new and innovative products to market through exciting technology initiatives to help our customers. We're seeking a Business Analyst Co-Op to help our Project Services team define, plan, and implement a diverse set of projects within the technology organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with project managers and business analysts in the Project Services team to deliver technical products across team specialties.
  • Gain experience in how a business analyst works with a software development team.
  • Create process maps and learn about the agile software development process.
  • Write product requirements/user stories and use JIRA to manage them.
  • Participate in daily huddles to discuss user story specifics and project direction.
  • Work with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable items for the development team.
  • Help prepare presentations to share project information with end users and stakeholders.
  • Own specific initiatives and be held accountable for delivery, and also assist other team members with their tasks.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and develop solutions.
Requirements:
  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or technical writing major at an accredited university.
  • A passion for data and data analysis.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • An outstanding work ethic and great people skills.
  • Sound time management and organization skills.
  • Experience as a member of a project team.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience using web-based applications.

This position is intended for rising juniors and seniors currently attending college or university and able to work in our London, ON office.
