Job Title: Automotive Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Shop Supervisor to join our team at Fix-Rite Auto Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, managing the shop, estimating costs and materials, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Manage the shop, including requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects and tasks
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintained
  • Recommend personnel actions and decisions
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment:

The work environment is noisy, and the supervisor will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of automotive technicians/motor vehicle mechanics.

The hours of work are 35 hours per week.
