Strategic Land Use Planner

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a talented Strategic Land Use Planner to join our Community Planning Branch in Saskatoon.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in analyzing planning proposals, bylaws, and subdivision applications for compliance with provincial interests and planning standards.
We are looking for a motivated professional with superior problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to work collaboratively with organizations and agencies on development issues and policies.
This position requires a degree in planning or a related field, combined with several years of land use planning experience at a provincial or municipal level. Preference will be given to those with full membership in the Saskatchewan Professional Planners Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to integrated inter-ministry approaches to community development, sustainable infrastructure, and land use planning.
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position through their resume or cover letter.

Salary range: $36.703–$45.993 Hourly.
