Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager, Trucking Company to join our team at Cargo County Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our trucking company, ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage a team of drivers and logistics staff to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
  • Coordinate with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or transportation management role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. They will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
