Worship Arts and Congregational Engagement Director

At McMaster Divinity, we are seeking a Worship Arts and Congregational Engagement Director to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the spiritual and artistic landscape of our community.

About the Role

The Worship Arts and Congregational Engagement Director will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of worship arts initiatives that inspire and engage our congregation. This includes planning and coordinating worship services, developing and leading worship teams, and creating opportunities for congregational engagement and participation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement worship arts initiatives that align with the mission and values of McMaster Divinity
  • Lead and coordinate worship teams, including musicians, artists, and other volunteers
  • Plan and coordinate worship services, including selecting music, readings, and other elements
  • Create opportunities for congregational engagement and participation, such as workshops, retreats, and other events
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to worship and congregational engagement
