We are seeking a seasoned arts professional to lead the Burlington Performing Arts Centre as our next Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of a thriving arts organization.
About the RoleThe Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and operations of the Centre, including programming, marketing, fundraising, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in arts management, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in leading performing arts venues. A university degree in arts and/or business management is required, as is excellent financial and organizational skills.
The Executive Director will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, staff, artists, and community partners. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
About the CentreThe Burlington Performing Arts Centre is a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of downtown Burlington. With a seating capacity of 718, the Centre hosts a wide range of performances and events, including concerts, plays, and dance productions. The Centre is also a community hub, offering a variety of programs and services for local residents.
