Job Requirements
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Trans-United Consultants Ltd. in the Kitchener area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support in troubleshooting and repairs to ensure quality and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as required
- Document and maintain details of inspections
- Participate in ongoing cross-training and multi-skilling activities within the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial Millwright (433A) certification - Inter Provincial/Red Seal or Ontario
- 5+ years of experience in an automated industrial production environment performing mechanical maintenance of plant equipment
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance in a food processing environment
- Competent in SMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding processes
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will work a standard afternoon shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday to Friday. They will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
