Nurse Specialist - Infusion Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist - Infusion Services to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and services in the home and clinic settings.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Administer medications and IV therapy as directed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying any potential issues or concerns.
  • Provide patient education on medication management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct regular home visits to assess patient needs, provide support, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or equivalent.
  • Strong clinical skills, with a focus on infusion therapy and medication management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and services.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel within a designated geographic area.
  • Current CPR certification and up-to-date with all relevant continuing education requirements.
