Medical Oncology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Medical Oncology Specialist to join our team at Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina. As a key member of our clinical research department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to oncology patients throughout their cancer journey.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time regular position that reports to a Site Manager or Provincial Manager within the Care Services Division. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and develop formal relationships with patients to achieve their short-term or long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic nursing care to oncology patients, including assessment, intervention, treatment coordination, administration, teaching, counseling, support, and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of relevant clinical information and apply it effectively in practice.
- Communicate complex information accurately and clearly both orally and in writing.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, be certified in Basic Life Saving (BLS), and possess oncology nursing certification (an asset). You should also be licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
What We OfferThis position comes with a competitive salary, estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
