We are seeking a Marketing Director to lead our brand strategy and promotions team at Skip, part of Just Eat Takeaway.com.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic vision and effective execution of the brand strategy, including engagement and activation with sponsorships, promotions, and social content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a diverse and talented team of marketing professionals across Brand, Promotions, Sponsorships, and Social.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Leadership Team, Strategy, Creative, Product, Sales, Retail, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and delivery on all program requirements.
  • Develop a multi-year brand strategy that will achieve Skip's objective of being one of Canada's most loved brands.
  • Seek out and lead with a data-first mindset to ensure ideas, strategies, and decisions are laddering up to the organization's KPIs.
  • Support the team with best-in-class executions, ensuring a positive learning environment that enables a stronger ROI for future initiatives.
  • Lead by example and promote out-of-the-box thinking to set Skip apart from competitors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 5-7 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building effective, data-driven strategies that deliver against objectives.
  • Deep experience and appreciation for building relationships with various types/levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to negotiate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to deliver win/win scenarios that drive profitability for Skip and our partners.
  • Effective in managing competing priorities while significantly contributing to company growth objectives.
  • Strategic thinker that can identify and unlock growth opportunities while navigating through complex barriers.
  • Fast learner who is highly organized and able to adapt to a rapid-growth and dynamic environment.
  • An outstanding communicator with the ability to conduct themselves professionally under pressure.
  • Positive team player that isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Location: Toronto

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
