About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, stand for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
