About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Guest Services: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Requests: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent oral communication, and maintain a positive attitude.
Work Environment

As a Hotel Room Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
