About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent oral communication skills to ensure a positive guest experience.
Work Environment

As a Hotel Room Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Seasonal.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
