Job Title: Construction Superintendent

At Chandos, we're seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to lead our commercial construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage site safety, compliance with regulations, and clear communication of roles.
  • Support continuous improvement and quality management systems.
  • Oversee project activities, budgets, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Coordinate site logistics, equipment, and waste diversion efforts.
  • Maintain client relationships and meet project specifications.
  • Facilitate staff training and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Journeyman trade certification or equivalent experience.
  • Technical diploma and/or Gold Seal certification are considered assets.
  • Leadership training and safety certificates.
  • Scheduling experience required.
  • Five or more years of experience in commercial construction.
  • Three or more years of supervisory or management experience in the construction field.
