We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Global Compliance to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Compliance & AML team, you will play a critical role in upholding the highest standards of accountability and transparency within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks, and ensure that all business activities are conducted in a manner that is consistent with our values and principles.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on compliance-related matters, and ensure that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a culture of compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry developments, and ensure that our compliance programs and policies are aligned with these changes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance or risk management role, preferably in a financial services organization.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly in the areas of anti-money laundering and know-your-customer.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
