Join Our Team as a Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic III

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic III to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks, ensuring they are in top condition and ready for delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the trucking industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy equipment systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment and tools
