Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic III to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Ottawa, ON. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on diesel trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Assist senior technicians with major repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete tasks
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in vehicle repair or truck repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
  • Must be currently enrolled in an apprentice program
  • Must maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies
