This is an exciting opportunity for a career-minded individual to start their journey as a diesel truck mechanic. As a Diesel Technician III (Helper/Apprentice), you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to develop your skills and knowledge in vehicle repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment
  • Assist with the removal, replacement, and repair of major components, such as brakes and fifth wheels
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to diagnose and repair complex issues
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of practical experience in vehicle repair or truck repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5 and the ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months of being hired
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems
