Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and qualifying filling/packaging equipment to ensure efficient processing of the line. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and qualify filling/packaging equipment to ensure efficient processing of the line.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
  • Develop skills and progress to increasingly complex maintenance tasks.
  • Train packaging technicians on equipment setup and basic troubleshooting.
  • Support team members to deliver expected business results.
  • Perform tasks in the safest possible manner and maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Collaborate as a team member to achieve all outcomes.
  • Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years' technical experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Successful completion of the PEDQP Technical Skill Enhancement Program or 2 to 3-year College diploma in a technical program.
  • Proven preventative maintenance skills and ability to positively influence team results.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Ability to work any shift, including weekends.
