Security Operative Job Summary As a Healthcare Security Officer with Paladin Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our healthcare workers and visitors. You will respond to alarms, emergency requests, and use your excellent verbal de-escalation skills to resolve incidents. Your ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling private information is essential. You will also provide exceptional customer service, with a welcoming presence, and effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, with a welcoming presence
  • Prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules and regulations
  • Monitor site visitors and perform ID checks in accordance with site policies and procedures
  • Respond professionally to site emergencies (alarms, medical emergencies, fires, and other urgent matters)
  • Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events
  • Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports regarding the activities, security violations, and hazardous occurrences on site
  • Regularly patrol the facility to ensure the safety of all individuals

Requirements
  • Enjoy keeping people safe and working with the public
  • Are comfortable standing for long periods of time
  • Are eligible to work in Canada
  • Have prior experience working in Security or Customer Service
  • Are bilingual (where applicable)
Training and Certification All our Officers are required to carry a valid New Brunswick Security License, provided by the company. We also provide Basic Security Training. Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement:
  1. Non Violent Crisis Intervention
  2. Use of Force
