Senior Manager, Multinational Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive subsidiary-level sales of all GTB products in Caribbean and Central America.
  • Collaborate with coverage teams globally to identify product gaps and opportunities for multinational clients.
  • Work closely with CIB partners and GTB partners to lead business development activities and increase transaction services for multinationals headquartered outside of C+CA.
  • Support GTB and Corporate partners in developing global transaction banking plans and executing to grow local and global relationships.
  • Maintain knowledge of Scotiabank's local and global platform, product capabilities, operational processes, risk appetite, and risk culture.
  • Stay aware of the changing macro environment and regulatory landscape and their impact on the industry and potential future opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, and day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree preferred/an advantage in any relevant subject.
  • Knowledge of transaction products and processes.
  • Business Development Skills with superior closing capabilities.
  • Experience at global or regional bank.
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation is an asset.
  • Strong MS PowerPoint skills to update client presentations, pitches, and proposals.
