Senior Manager, Multinational Business Development

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive subsidiary-level sales of all GTB products in Caribbean and Central America.
- Collaborate with coverage teams globally to identify product gaps and opportunities for multinational clients.
- Work closely with CIB partners and GTB partners to lead business development activities and increase transaction services for multinationals headquartered outside of C+CA.
- Support GTB and Corporate partners in developing global transaction banking plans and executing to grow local and global relationships.
- Maintain knowledge of Scotiabank's local and global platform, product capabilities, operational processes, risk appetite, and risk culture.
- Stay aware of the changing macro environment and regulatory landscape and their impact on the industry and potential future opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, and day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.
Requirements:
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree preferred/an advantage in any relevant subject.
- Knowledge of transaction products and processes.
- Business Development Skills with superior closing capabilities.
- Experience at global or regional bank.
- CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation is an asset.
- Strong MS PowerPoint skills to update client presentations, pitches, and proposals.
