**About Us**

Eightsix Network is a leading company in the Panel board industry, renowned for its expertise in board drying technologies. As the largest dryer parts stocking supplier globally, we are expanding our successful in-office capital sales team and seeking an experienced, self-motivated, results-driven salesperson to help maintain and expand our customer base throughout North America and globally.

**Salary:** Estimated annual salary $120,000 - $180,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

**Job Description: Technical Sales Representative**

We are looking for a skilled Technical Sales Representative to promote our parts and equipment to new and existing customers, boost sales, and cultivate long-term relationships with clients.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our products and their applications.
  • Promote our products to new and existing customers to increase sales.
  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with existing clients, while building relationships with new clients.
  • Become familiar with our customers from 'floor-level' to senior, corporate-level owners/managers to maximize business opportunities.
  • Create and present professionally developed proposals to clients accurately and timely.
  • Follow up on customer proposals promptly while maintaining quote/order tracking details.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites across North America (and other countries) to promote our products and capital equipment offerings.
  • Arrange and conduct customer proposal presentations/meetings both in-person and online.
  • Provide exceptional customer support in all situations.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create new marketing materials and update existing ones.
  • Attend occasional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • Proven successful experience in a technical sales role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and drawings.
  • Strong, customer-focused interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced in developing high-level relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Comfortable interacting at all staff levels within the company, with customers, and with suppliers.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Drive to succeed and willingness to take on new challenges with a can-do attitude.
  • Team player, adaptable, and innovative in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to the USA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • An Engineering or Business degree/diploma is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of previous outside technical sales experience in a similar field is required.
