Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled General Supervisor to join our team at UNION GENERAL CONTRACTING INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress and performance.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of project activities, materials, and equipment.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Materials and Equipment
    • Requisition and manage materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
