Restaurant Shift Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's Restaurants. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and freshness
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records
- Hire and train food service staff to meet business needs
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
- Or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports
Work Environment:
- Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
