Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

Kenny\u0027s Nail Spa is seeking a skilled Nail Salon Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our nail salon. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedule for our nail technicians to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair of our equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Quality and Production: Monitor quality and production levels to ensure consistency and excellence in our services.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning of specialty and difficult items to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Mechanical Equipment: Supervise the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient use.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of our nail technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Industrial or Household Articles: Wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles as needed.
Supervision:
  • Team Size: Supervise a team of 3-4 people.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Newcomer Recruitment: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Youths:
  • On-the-Job Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Work Term: Permanent
