Restaurant Operations Manager

At Fox Harb'r Resort, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct the operations of the restaurant, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive work environment.
- Monitor staff performance, control inventory, and modify procedures and prices to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.
Requirements:
- Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management, or a minimum of one year's experience in a food and beverage supervisory role.
- Responsible beverage service certification required.
- Experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
Work Environment:
The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
