Restaurant Manager Job Description

At Fox Harb'r Resort, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the operations of our restaurant, bar, and cafeteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Recruit and train staff to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Set staff work schedules and monitor performance to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Control inventory and monitor revenues to optimize profitability.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management.
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a food and beverage supervisory role.
  • Responsible beverage service certification required.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding tasks.

Personal Suitability:

Reliability, organized, team player, and dependable.

Language:

English is required.

Salary:

$22.00 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.
