Registered Nurse

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Medicine. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
Responsibilities- Assess patients and collect information from a variety of sources using skills of observation, communication, data review, and physical assessment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with patients and their families/care givers to ensure their needs are met.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to practices, procedures, or protocols.
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families/care givers, and members of the interprofessional care team. Ability to promote person-centered care, demonstrating empathy, trust, and respect for patients and families.
