Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Vantage. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our large-scale, distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with software engineers to drive project success through iterative processes and effective task planning.
- Take ownership of system availability and performance, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing automation to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system stability and responsiveness during off-hours.
- Foster collaboration with engineering teams to promote framework reuse and gain insights into system operation.
- Lead the development and implementation of service-level objectives to maintain product reliability.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software releases.
- Automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management processes using industry-standard tools and best practices.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies to enhance scalability and resource utilization.
- Maintain and enhance version control systems and repositories for codebase management.
- Drive the SRE/DevOps roadmap, assuming full ownership and engaging in negotiation and strategic planning for successful execution.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SRE, DevOps, and automation.
