Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Vantage. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our large-scale, distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software engineers to drive project forward through iterative processes and effective task planning.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end availability and performance of our services, identifying potential issues and implementing automation to prevent recurrence.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure systems remain stable and responsive during off-hours.
  • Foster collaboration with other engineering teams to promote reuse of existing frameworks and gain insights into their operation.
  • Lead development, implementation, and achievement of service-level objectives to maintain product reliability.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software releases.
  • Automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management processes using industry-standard tools and best practices.
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies to enhance scalability and resource utilization.
  • Maintain and enhance version control systems and repositories for codebase management.
  • Steer and drive SRE/DevOps roadmap, assuming full ownership and actively engaging in negotiation and strategic planning for successful execution.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SRE, DevOps, and automation.
