About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Criteo. As a key member of our Product Reliability Engineering group, you will work closely with product engineering to improve the reliability of our apps, systems, and pipelines.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product engineering to identify and prioritize areas for improvement in our systems and applications.
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues that impact system availability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and response to system issues.
  • Contribute to the development of our platform's infrastructure and architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure timely response to system issues and incidents.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in site reliability engineering and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience with software development in one or more programming languages, data structures, or algorithms.
  • Proficient in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and codebases.
  • Experience working in computing, distributed systems, storage, or networking.
  • Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective verbal and written communication skills.
