Job Title: Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Bombay Bistro/2576256 Ontario Inc. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of work.
