Job Summary

The Associate Relationship Banker role is a key position in our Banking Center team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. As a Relationship Banker, you'll be the face of Webster Bank, building strong relationships with our customers and helping them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and needs in a timely and accurate manner, capitalizing on resources and tools available
  • Evaluate customer needs and offer appropriate financial products and services, through needs-based conversations, to build and deepen relationships
  • Perform routine teller transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and other transactions
  • Meet/exceed individual and team goals in sales, service, and operations
  • Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; candidates with advanced degrees preferred
  • 6 months to 2 years of job experience in cash handling and customer service; needs-based sales experience and banking experience preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and extended hours; travel may be required to alternate Banking Centers
  • Self-starter and highly motivated, with strong customer service skills and ability to support teamwork
