Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team at Bunge Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with maintenance staff, electrical staff, operations staff, and contractors to achieve maintenance goals.
- Participate in plant safety training and hazard detection to ensure a safe working environment.
- Contribute to the overall plant safety by participating in on-call rotations for repairs during off-hours.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, as well as related Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Be punctual and flexible with work schedules, including regular hours and overtime as required.
- Cooperate with other maintenance staff, operations staff, supervisors, management, and outside contractors as needed.
- Wear and utilize required personal protective equipment, including harnesses, masks, clothing, etc.
- Work in various conditions, including heat, cold, heights, and confined spaces.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, catwalks, scaffolding, etc.
- Be willing to learn new procedures and participate in training.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Training and/or experience in drive systems, gearboxes, belts, chains.
- Training and/or experience in grain handling and conveying systems, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw conveyors.
- Training and/or experience in welding techniques, including stick, MIG, TIG.
- Training and/or experience in metal repair and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and understand written manuals, blueprints, work orders, etc.
- Ability to create written records of work, including parts used, problems, etc.
- Interprovincial Millwright ticket an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License required.
