Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team at Bunge Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with maintenance staff, electrical staff, operations staff, and contractors to achieve team goals.
- Contribute to plant safety by participating in safety training and hazard detection.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for repairs during off-hours.
- Maintain full knowledge of and compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Adhere to a regular work schedule, with flexibility for adjusted hours and overtime as required.
- Cooperate with other maintenance staff, operations staff, supervisors, management, and outside contractors as needed.
- Wear and utilize required personal protective equipment.
- Work in various conditions, including heat, cold, heights, and confined spaces.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Climb ladders, catwalks, scaffolding, and other equipment.
- Be willing to learn new procedures and participate in training.
- Training and/or experience in drive systems, gearboxes, belts, and chains.
- Training and/or experience in grain handling and conveying systems, including bucket elevators, drag conveyors, and screw conveyors.
- Training and/or experience in welding techniques (stick, MIG, TIG).
- Training and/or experience in metal repair and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and understand written manuals, blueprints, work orders, and other documents.
- Ability to create written records of work, including parts used, problems, and other relevant information.
- Interprovincial Millwright ticket is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
