Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team at Bunge Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance staff, electrical staff, operations staff, and contractors to achieve maintenance goals.
  • Contribute to plant safety by participating in safety training and hazard detection.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for repairs during off-hours.
  • Maintain full knowledge of and compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Adhere to a regular work schedule, with flexibility for adjusted hours and overtime as required.
  • Cooperate with other maintenance staff, operations staff, supervisors, management, and outside contractors as needed.
  • Wear and utilize required personal protective equipment.
  • Work in various conditions, including heat, cold, heights, and confined spaces.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Climb ladders, catwalks, scaffolding, and other equipment.
  • Be willing to learn new procedures and participate in training.
Requirements
  • Training and/or experience in drive systems, gearboxes, belts, chains.
  • Training and/or experience in grain handling and conveying systems, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw conveyors.
  • Training and/or experience in welding techniques (stick, MIG, TIG).
  • Training and/or experience in metal repair and fabrication techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand written manuals, blueprints, work orders, and other documents.
  • Ability to create written records of work, including parts used, problems, and other relevant information.
  • Interprovincial Millwright ticket is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
