About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sabores Mexican Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine, taking into account seasonal availability and customer preferences.

Chef Management

Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Food Quality and Safety

Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Kitchen Operations

Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns, and ensuring that all customers receive a positive dining experience.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role

Work Setting

Restaurant environment

Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
