Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Blowers & Grafton (Shawnessy) Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing menus for our restaurant, as well as managing kitchen operations and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus for our restaurant, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of culinary arts, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control
