About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinarian, DVM Specialist to join our team at Bedford Park Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to animals, including examinations, vaccinations, and surgical procedures
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, taking into account their medical history and current condition
  • Collaborate with other veterinary professionals to ensure seamless care and communication with pet owners
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through ongoing education and training
  • Participate in hospital-wide initiatives to promote excellent patient care and customer service
Requirements
  • Valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada; registered with the NSVMA
  • Experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice
  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, pet parents, and community
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
  • Interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
  • Love for all companion animals
