Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinarian, DVM, to join our team at Bedford Parks Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to small companion animals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing medical, surgical, and dental care to small companion animals
  • Conducting soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans to ensure optimal patient care
  • Collaborating with colleagues to provide exceptional patient care and customer service
  • Participating in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies

Requirements

  • Valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada; registered with the NSVMA
  • Experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice
  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, pet parents, and community
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
  • Interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
  • Love for all companion animals
