Job Summary

Air Canada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airport Customer Service Manager to lead our Cabin Environment Quality team.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a results-driven professional to oversee the delivery of exceptional customer service at Air Canada airports. As an Airport Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and enhancing Airport Customer Service functions for Cabin Environment Quality (cabin grooming).

You will work within a fast-paced and dynamic airport environment, effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve excellence in customer service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Effectively plan and delegate daily work assignments for ground handling staff using airport automation tools.
  • Work collaboratively with Leads to coordinate operational activities and monitor deployment of staff.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve service and operational problems with a results-oriented approach to performance.
  • Assume local leadership for specific initiatives aimed at process and performance improvement.
  • Report on audit performance and initiate corrective action as needed.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, recognized ability to work under pressure, and proven leadership skills. Additionally, you should have a strong commitment to teamwork and excellent verbal and written communication skills. A bachelor's degree or academic equivalent is an asset, and knowledge of airport processing and operations procedures, as well as Cabin Environment Quality standards and processes, are beneficial.
