Truck Driver

North Delta Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Safely: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of cargo.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with regular breaks and rest periods.
Language:The primary language of communication is English.
